SHAHBABU EDUCATION SOCIETY, PATUR

The Society is established in 1957 for the charitable purpose of promotion of Education, Literatureand Science and for diffusion of Religious, Social and other useful knowledge among Muslims and others. The Basic motive behind the establishment of the Society was to enable the youth & children to attain high strides in the field of education. The society has successfully brought ahead its good work from its establishment. As an innovative step towards a renaissance in the educational field. The Society had begun various institutions. The only motive in mind to build this set up was that our society intended and also desires in future to benefit all pupils through our educational activities in order to elevate their academic status.Society has also started modern courses like Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Fisheries etc. to give all round development of the students.

Society conducts co-curricular activities in all institutions and also conducts the additional free coaching for all the scholarships and entrance examinations. Society arranges many camps like medical camp, personality development, career guidance, and communication skills are organized by our Society for the benefit of the students.

Shah Abdul Aziz allies Shahbabu sahib rh. The Dargah (tomb) of Shah Abdul Aziz is situated on west side of Patur. This dargah has historical importance in Maharashtra. Shahbabu is a Muslim saint of the 13th century, who came here for the preaching of Islam. Shahbabu was born in Mecca. The dargah was gradually built by many Muslim rulers. The tomb or holy shrine was built by Tughlaq Emperor of Delhi in 1348 AD, then second portion of Khangah & Sher Darwaza was built by Mughal Knight AbdurRaheem Khan-e-Khanaa. With latest development, BulandDarwaza (a copy of Ajmer Sharif Buland Darwaza) was built by Late Haji Syed Akbar in 1950.
